From Chattogram to Portsmouth

Chattogram gave me my roots. Portsmouth gave me a home on the south coast of England. Between the two, there have been degrees, decisions and a lot of learning.

What I carried with me

A love of language and literature
The habit of asking questions
A belief that education changes lives

What I found here

Portsmouth is a city of sailors, students and stories. Studying for my MA in Education at the University of Portsmouth brought me closer to how people learn — and how I want to keep learning too.

The sea is a constant in both cities. It reminds me that the best journeys are not straight lines.
